J-Dog aka Slaw comes from my hometown Augusta, GA and is one of the first artists that I started working with. He goes all the way back to my first album “Welcome To The South” on Whodonit. The Bigg Dogs project was directed by myself and Khalfoni from 1210 Studios (Kraftwerk Records) We came together in the summer of 2006 for this project. I used the MPC 3000 for this project and would have Khalfoni beats that were open so he could be back with the live musicians to fill in the tracks. Slaw has always had a tight flow and continues to write and record down in Augusta today.
